Sy Football

Ey up!!!

Today after work Si had a football match. I have never got to actually see him play untill today!. when I have been to watch he ends up injured in the first 5 mins ha ha ha....

Well he has joined up with a team who play on Monday nights (outdoor) and another team who play Thursay nights (indoor).

Along I went to give him support..... we were running a bit late, as our tea was sooooooo lovely, when we got there the guy that is useually in goal was injured, thus because Si was late he had to go in goal (so once again I still havent seen him play properly).... any way..... HE WAS AWSOME!!!!! he saved so many goals he was like a pro!! I was so proud of him. Infact the whole team played really well! They ended up winning 4-3.

I can't wait to go watch again, I am not sure whether there is anywhere for me to watch from for the matches on Thursdays, but I will pop along and see...

Go Si!!!!

Aplogies

Ey Up....

Well I said I would keep this up to date, and guess what I have failed......

Due to internet problems I have been unable to update at all (its soooooooo slow....)

Well what have we been up to???

Fisrt of all let me say... WE HAVE FINALLY GOT OUR THINGS! Yippeeee, minus a few things as they were not allowed through customs oops (my precious bags boo hoo i loved them so.....)

I have started a new job working as a project support officer for IT in a place called RSL Care, I am really enjoying it, so is Si as we now have 2 wages comming in!

Si is still working away on his projects, he has even been offered another job somewhere else in Oz, but I dont think he is going to take it as we want to stay here, and we have only just got settled....

We have met a great couple called Ruth and Brian (same age as us) they are here on a 457 visa too and they have come from Newcastle!!!! Ruth had not been enjoying it up to now but I will tell you all about that later.... I have a lot to say.

We have been to a place called Mount Tambourine (it threw it down the whole time... again i will post a seperate blog for this.

Also we went fishing over the weekend with Paul and his son Daniel... we were out from 8am untill 7pm.. what a long day... we caught loads of whiting fish and 5 squid.... later we had to wait until the sun set to catch the big deep sea fish as this is when the tide comes in and we move to a place where the water is over 70 foot deep!!! Unfotuatley we did't catch any big fish boo hoo..... they wernt taking the bait..... Its a bit of a nightmare if your a woman too as there is no where to pee!!!! I tried to pee in a bucket (with everyone looking the other way... but alas I got stage fright ha ha and had to wait untill we got a shore and I could use a toilet phewwwwww.... that was a relief..... I think I will stick to the short trips and leave the long trips to the boys ha ha xxxxx

Any way I know this is a quik one but gotta get back to work so al catch ya later x
