My New Toy!

Well I decided to treat myself and buy a awesome camera!! I have always loved taking photos especially arty ones and also from high up in the mountains... however the cameras I have had have never done much justice.... but this time they will .... now I just need to go to places so I can use it!

House Boat

Today was house boat weekend! Sailing down the Tweed river for 4 days ahhhhh great fun!

Sy and I went with some of Sy's work mates; Jasmin, Jeff, Danielle & Jason.... the house boat was quite nice with 3 small (very small) bedrooms a lovely kitchen with seating area and an upper deck (Awesome) and then the place where we were to spend most of the time...... out at the back fishing!

It was a brilliant trip and would def do it again! Cost quite a bit tho so could not do it too often boo hoo...... I think the next time we would have to do it in the summer as it did get quite cold at night and in the morning..... brrrrrr.......

Eagles Reach - NSW (Day 2)

Finally arrived at Eagles Reach a whole 9000 kilometers from Brisbane..... it was quite a long drive up to the top of the mountain and we saw lots of Kangaroos!

We got to the reception where they gave us a glass of Champers and bag with chocolates and a bottle of champers too!... we took the key and off we went to our lodge....

Inside there was our room and also a communal room with a pool table etc..... it overlooked off the mountain, the view was fantastic.. here are some pictures!

Once we had unpacked we went down for dinner, oh and to feed the kangaroos!

Ha ha ha it was great! They are soooooo cute I don't know how people can eat them :(

Well after this we had some food (not kangaroo).. and went back for a game of pool.... ha I just remembered  taking a picture of Sy and then I made him take it again ha ha can you guess why??

A new adventure

Well here I am starting my blog, this was origionaly on LiveJournal, however it is soooooo slow and complicated I decided to move over to this! It links to my PC and to my on-line web albums in Picassa, which is great! so here we go! Happy Reading.......

Well its see ya soon to the family and frends and on to the plane we go..... we were pritty lucky as we met a lady who was a air hostess on our flight down to london (Si fixed her mp3 player) in return she put a note in to the hostesses on our London to Singapore flight to upgrade us.....

How exciting..... yes we were upgraded to business class! it was awsome, champers on arival and proper steak for tea! oohhh and not to forget the reclining seats! here are a few pics of this!

I did not dare take too many photos as there were a lot of posh people around tee hee (and we were tired)

It was like sleeping in your own bed! From Singapore to Brisbane tho, it all changed! boo hoo, we were reverted back to the common seats!

Once we arived in Brisbane it was straight to the Hotel and sleep..... the hotel was very posh too, we had our own apartment and a swimming pool! I dont think I got photos of this but it was at the Savile Hotel, Brisbane.
